As an organization focused on Meaningful Lives As We Age, GSA is committed to supporting attendee health & wellness by creating a program that combines physical, social and creative events throughout the Annual Scientific Meeting. We hope this inspires focus, balance and fun for all who participate.
Dates: Wednesday, November 12 Time: 6:30 PM – 6:50 PM
As part of the President’s Welcome Reception and Exhibit Hall Opening, don’t miss this special moment of movement and joy: At 6:30 PM, join GSA President Marilyn Gugliucci on the dance floor for a fun Electric Slide lesson—right in the Exhibit Hall! Dancing isn’t just joyful—it’s good for the brain. Research shows that social dancing helps improve memory, coordination, and executive function while reducing dementia risk. It’s the perfect blend of physical, cognitive, and social engagement—key ingredients for healthy aging.
The dance floor is located at the rear of the Exhibit Hall, in front of the stage.
