  • COVID-19 Safety Recommendations - 2025

Stay up-to-date with the latest health and safety guidelines leading up to GSA 2025!

CDC Guidance

For the health and safety of all in attendance at the Gerontological Society of America (GSA) 2025 Annual Scientific Meeting, GSA recommends that individuals take responsibility for protecting themselves and other participants by following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) on measures to reduce infection from COVID-19 and to protect against severe complications. GSA recommends and urges all attendees to follow the CDC’s recommendation for updated vaccines as soon as they are eligible to do so.

GSA Protocol

For the health and safety of GSA 2025 attendees, GSA’s COVID-19 safety recommendation or established protocol is subject to change based on COVID-19 community infection levels and any updated guidance from CDC and/or federal or state officials in localities hosting the GSA in-person meeting.

If you begin to exhibit any of the symptoms associated with COVID-19, we encourage you to follow CDC guidelines. Please self-test or visit a Seattle testing site.
